Ideal for
knocking down bean levees, road maintenance, cattle
operations, golf course construction and maintenance,
and landscape work in smaller areas including fish
farm levees. Just as tough as the larger levelers.
This versatile leveler was
originally developed for leveling bean levees after
watering soybeans. This machine is now used not only
in row crop farming, but also in construction and
maintenance of golf courses adn sportsfields, sod
farming, cattle feed lots, etc.
The unique front V-blade allows
the user to split dirt ridges, piled dirt, gravel
ridges in the road; then, by adjusting the top link,
the leveler can be set in a leveling mode to smooth
the area or road out. The front V-blade can also be
set to cut shallow drainage ditches and the rear
V-blade can be set to drag trash out of certain types
of ditches.
Standard widths:
4', 5', 6', 7', 8', 10', 12', and 14'
Each leveler has 1/4" x
4" single-bevel grader blades for cutting edges.
This leveler is built for
category 1,2,3 hitches, but can be modified for
special categories.
Weights will vary according to
size, but the 8' unit weighs approximately 750 lbs.
Leveler moldboards, levee
squeezer blades, combine headers, etc. can be
protected by the addition of
polysheeting/polyplating, cut to fit and bolted on.
This plastic sheet is inexpensive and greatly
increases the life of equipment moldboards. The
plating allows dirt and trash to move down the
moldboards with less drag, which means easier pulling
and less wear and tear on equipment. Headers are
protected from wear. In the case of landlevelers,
depending on the type of soil, farmers are getting
into the fields 1 1/2 to 3 days earlier. Another
benefit is that it eliminates winter maintenance of
having to paint moldboards.
The plating comes in various
thicknesses; some color options are available. Give
us your blade dimensions and we will cut and ship
your polysheeting, for you to bolt onto your
equipment. A cost-effective and money-saving addition
to any product with blades or headers.
We regularly design and create
equipment according to the specifications of our
customers. It may be a variation of one of our stock
items, or something not routinely manufactured.
We have goodused and
re-conditioned equipment, taken as trade-in or bought
for re-sale.
Our objective is to meet our
customers' demand for the highest quality
land-forming and agricultural implements.
