This leveler is the original
hydraul ical ly-control led angle-blade Purdy
leveler, designed almost 40 years ago. It has been
used by farmers to open up millions of acres of new
ground and to level and maintain finished ground.

The trip angle-blades, set
inside the frame and the frame runners, in the
operating mode, are about 1 1/2" from the
ground. This allows for a fast-pulling, easy-to-set
machine.
It is available in various
widths and lengths, including 10'x 40', 10'x 501,
12'x 50', 14'x 60' and 16'x 60'. Because of the
transportation cost, the 14'x 60" and 16'x
60'sizes are used primarily in Arkansas, Louisiana
and Mississippi.
The 10" x 40'and 10'x 501
units work well for the smaller 60 to 100 h.p.
tractors.
A bucket can be added, to
create a leveler combining angle blades with a
bucket, for greater flexibility of use. This feature
is offered in the 10' and 12'width machines.
As of 3-1-00, one 10'x 40'and
one 10'x 50' unit are on the lot
Leveler moldboards, levee
squeezer blades, combine headers, etc. can be
protected by the addition of
polysheeting/polyplating, cut to fit and bolted on.
This plastic sheet is inexpensive and greatly
increases the life of equipment moldboards. The
plating allows dirt and trash to move down the
moldboards with less drag, which means easier pulling
and less wear and tear on equipment. Headers are
protected from wear. In the case of landlevelers,
depending on the type of soil, farmers are getting
into the fields 1 1/2 to 3 days earlier. Another
benefit is that it eliminates winter maintenance of
having to paint moldboards.
The plating comes in various
thicknesses; some color options are available. Give
us your blade dimensions and we will cut and ship
your polysheeting, for you to bolt onto your
equipment. A cost-effective and money-saving addition
to any product with blades or headers.
We regularly design and create
equipment according to the specifications of our
customers. It may be a variation of one of our stock
items, or something not routinely manufactured.
We have goodused and
re-conditioned equipment, taken as trade-in or bought
for re-sale.
Our objective is to meet our
customers' demand for the highest quality
land-forming and agricultural implements.
