Eldridge Landleveler:
Mr. Eldridge is changing his operation. He is the
second owner of this machine and has an excellent
reputation for maintaining his equipment. Serial #262
and was built in the mid- to late 1970's. It is an
18', 15 1/2', and 13' cut leveler x 80' leveler with
a large runner pipe.
Last year, Mr. Eldridge
replaced the large wheel assembly shafts and brass
bushings that the wheel assemblies pivot on and
replaced the 1/2 x 6 cutting edges. The machine was
pulled over approximately 500 acres, so there is very
little wear on the edges. They can also be flipped
over.

The machine has the original
16.9 x 26 R3 tires which have approximately 80 to 85%
rubber left with moderate cracking around some of the
lugs and on the side walls. When a tires goes out,
they will have to replaced two at a time with 16.9 x
26 RI .
Paint covers approximately 85
to 90%. There are two cables that will need replacing
and the turnbuckles are rusty but adjustable and
shouldn't need replacing. There are 4 oak boards that
will need to be replaced.
The tongue at one time was
cracked but was plated, and it has been in the field
for several years afterward. The steering arm was
replaced new in 1997, and there is no noticable wear.
As to the hub and spindles
there is the left front hub that the seal is slightly
loose , which we will take off and do what ever is
necessary to correct that problem.
The 6 x 16 lift cylinder has
some mild rust coating on the shaft. The depth
control stops are okay.
On the discharge end of the #3
blade the rear blade pipe frame has a bend in it. We
will cut that part out and replace it. We see no
damage at all to the the moldboard unit. The shear
bolts on the sub frame hanger on the discharge end
will need to be replaced. The blades are trip blades
but they are currently locked down . Personally, I
don't recommend this practice.
Other than the above structural
damage on the blade the machine is very solid. Any of
the few, older fractures have been repaired and are
holding after being in the field for several years.
We regularly design and create
equiptment according to the specifications of our

items, or something not routinely manufactured.
We have good used and
re-conditioned equipment, taken as trade-in or bought
for re-sale.
Our objective is to meet our
customers' demand for the highest quality
